Challenge
When the Kansas City Golf Association merged with the Kansas Golf Association, they came to us to create a brand that would feel fresh and inclusive for new audiences to encourage newcomers to the game. The united association needed a new face and a new name. In addition, we needed to address the fact that golf had been aging itself by taking itself too seriously and not introducing new players to the game.
Approach
The new name, Central Links, helped to evoke an association in the heartland committed to inclusivity on the green. So our campaign, “Tee Off – Game On,” took on a more youthful, casual approach encouraging participation and appeal. The results of our branding not only brought credibility to the convergence of two associations but also sparked momentum and excitement for future golfers, breathing new life onto the course.
